Crime of the Week

Please help police solve the first homicide of 2012. On Sunday, January 1, 2012 about 3 am., Esme Barrera was found dead in her, home in the 3100 block of King Street. Esme, 29, was out celebrating the New Year and walked home where she was attacked and murdered. There were two other attacks on women that same night in the same area but police have not confirmed if they are related. Esme Barrera was 29 and a teaching assistant and camp counselor. If you have any information that would help police find Esme’s killer please contact crimestoppers. You can call the hotline, leave web tip or text a tip and remain completely anonymous.

Anyone providing information leading to the arrest of the suspect in this case could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Remember, CRIME DOESN’T PAY…CRIME STOPPERS DOES!
