Governor’s Mansion Fire   

In the early hours of Sunday, June 8th, the Historic Texas Governors’ Mansion was set on fire by an unknown arsonist.  If you were in the area at the time or have any information about this crime, please call Crime Stoppers.

 

Thief hit Tesoros Trading Company in SOCO

On Sunday, June 1 between 3:30 and 3:45 am, a robber kicked in the glass front door of Tesoros Trading Company on South Congress, runs in the store and grabs the cash register.   The suspect in a dark t-shirt and dark ball cap was spotted walking by the store several times and returns minutes later in a dark car.  It is believed there was an accomplice driving the car.  Please call Crime Stoppers if you have any information about this crime.

 

 

Limousine Driver – Aggravated Robbery

 

On Monday May 5th, 2008 at around 2:30 a.m., Alfred Adams was driving a limousine in the 6th street area when he picked up a white female and black male.  Shortly after they attempted to rob him and forced him to take the Stassney Lane exit, came to a stop at the motor mile and was shot and left on the side of the room.  The suspect stole the white limo and left the vehicle on Stassney Lane between Krispy Kreme and Twin Peaks.   The suspects are a white female, in her early 30’s wearing a black dress and a black male weighing about 220-240 pounds and dressed all in black.

 

The family and friends of Alfred Adams are offering an additional cash reward for information that leads to the identification and apprehension of these criminals.

Motorcycle Fatalities 

 

On Tuesday April 15th, 2008, Robert Reed Murray and Amanda Kay Corso were traveling in the inside lane in the 6900 block of the N. IH 35 east frontage road and for unknown reasons struck a guardrail.  Both were killed.

 

 Police are asking for anyone who was in the area or has any information about this incident to please call Crime Stoppers.
